TODDLER VALANTINES CRAFTS

We made real Lavender scented play dough to take home!

Red rose prints made with cut Celery
and pink heart prints from cut potatoes.
(Makes lovely wrapping paper!)

This is a simple way to introduce the concept of printing to children of all ages.
Were possible i always try to use recycled materials, so for this project we used pizza trays for etching with ballpoint pens and thick Tempera paints for printing.

MAKE YOUR OWN INK PADS AND STAMPS!


I prepared these inexpensive stamp pads in advance by using packaging trays and thin foam with tempera paints
.
The children stuck pre-cut shapes to foam blocks

then designed note book covers
