TINY EASTER BASKETS & FELTED EGGS

We covered 'plum cartons' with delicate patterned tissue paper using 'Mod Podge' varnish glue, then 'wet felted' the eggs (and caterpillars!) with pure Merino wool using hot soapy water and rolling in to tiny egg shapes.

FABRIC EGG PRINTING

I prepared this little batch of Calico Easter eggs for the last arts/crafts club for this term, the children enjoyed stamping colourful polka dots all over using corks with fabric paints.

PAINT ETCHING,

I pre cut and covered these egg shapes and covered with foil so the children could paint and then etch interesting patterns using cotton buds. The kids really loved this technique, and the end results were really unique.
